Tasha Lester, born and raised in Chicago, IL, began consulting in 2011 after obtaining her graduate degree. Ms. Lester partners with clients to create sustainable change through collaborative processes, working with stakeholders in diverse industries. Her creative and invaluable expertise, sharp intelligence, and ability to take initiative, led her to become one of the best leading independent consultants.
Ms. Lester is passionate about education and possesses a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Development and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Behavioral Social Sciences.
Ms. Lester's work involves taking startups and existing businesses to the next level; assessing organizational effectiveness; implementing change management initiatives; designing and developing blended learning content; and managing business priorities, milestones, and risks.
Ms. Lester taught two graduate level courses at University of Miami: Strategic Management and Compensation, within the Human Resource Management certification program for the Division of Continuing and International Education. She is recognized by the university and graduates for an unyielding commitment to their continual growth and learning.
In 2013, Ms. Lester was appointed to serve on the Planning & Zoning Board for the City of West Palm Beach, FL and proactively served for two years. From 2007 - 2012, she played an active role in Chicago City Council and volunteered in her 1st Ward, the South Loop of Chicago, with Alderman Bob Fioretti on community development and public policy initiatives.
Ms. Lester served as a Community Development Board Member with the Greater Region YMCA in St. Louis, MO (2019 - 2023). She became a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), with the National CASA Association in 2008, advocating for abused and neglected children within the Department of Children and Family Services, and remains a devoted mandated reporter.
